Side Dish - 3D Modelling Works
Here are my 3D works (characters and animations) from 3D classes I took during diploma and degree.
3D Hard Surface Modelling (2020)
For our 3rd 3D modelling assignment, we're required to model hard surface modelling, retopology and learning how to bake normal maps to apply on our low poly models, also recently learnt about anchor points used in substance painter!
Our theme given was - Mecha Pokemon
I was pretty excited as I love Pokemon very much and I was recommended to this amazing artist!
Mecha Volcarona's design credits to Guillem Ferrer!

Sadly I have to cut down on some details due to lack of time but overall it's a good modelling practice!
Also tried to make sand weathering effects to reflect back on how you would find Volcarona in the desert area in Pokemon Black/White/Black 2/White 2
It's unfortunate I couldn't export the Marmoset Viewer for this model as the software couldn't render all of the lightings that I've used for this project so I had to post some close up shots of the model instead
Hard Surface Modelling (2018)
We leanrt how to model a gun in high poly and baking normal maps
An AK47 made for gun modeling class. Dirt Textures were added onto the gun, I wanted it to be in a setting where it was used when in contact of muddy areas while the gun wielder traverses the jungle.
UV maps used for texturing. Like the previous Tea Set scene, most of the the textures are done using substance painter.
Wireframe display for the Ak47 model.
Animation Section (2017)
2D Animation
3D Animation Show Reel
A part of a story boarding animatic I did for the group.
A story of a gear trying to find a new life in the big cty.
